TIR Attack problem - help needed please!

Hi

I have an old TrackIR 2 that needs TIR Attack 1.6 to work with CFS3. I haven't used TackIR 2 much since there was a limited rear view, but now I found a registry fix that solved the problem. At least when I tested in IL-2.

When I test in CFS3 I only get errors in TIR Attack.

I've tried to uninstall the TrackIR driver, tested another driver etc but it doesn't help. :banghead:

Suggestions to get TIR Attack to work again would be highly apreciated!

Thanks!

Cheers

I take it you have tried to find the answer on the Natural Point forum?

I had a similar problem once and the people of NP were most helpful in finding a solution.
If they can't help you, I can see if I can find something on a CD that's gathering dust in a corner.

One thing I do remember is that reinstalling/removing the drivers before installing a new one involved editing of the registry and inserting some new strings. I don't know if you want to go there?

Hi

TIR Attack is a third party software to make some games work with TrackIr 2, so Natural Point can’t help with that.

The TrackIR 2 works fine in IL-2, where the Natural point driver is supported. :)

I’ve searched about this problem and others have posted about it, but I haven’t found any solution so any ideas what I can do would be most welcome.

Cheers

Sorry, my bad,

I must have confused the two. In which case I cannot help as I thought you were talking about the NP-stuff.

I hope you can find a solution to your problem!

Hi

If I can’t get TIR Attack to work I’ll try to use the old Freetrack version with TrackIR support, which can use the TrackIR 2 camera and doesn’t need TIR Attack.

The benefit is to have 6 DOF instead of 2 DOF.

Cheers
