Thanks Tobob. Figures on airfields and definitely add to the atmosphere of a mission. I'm looking forward to them.

If not inconvenient, can you texture them as army personnel too.

Jagd,
Glad you like them.

By "army" you mean more olive drab correct?

I could scratch the navy colors all together since there doesn't seem to be a way to get them on a ship?

Changing colors shouldn't be to hard anyway. Here's the bmp:

Let me know what you want, I'm willing to work with you guys.
Also any reference or poses or suggestions for other characters welcome.

Thanks,

tobob

Have you changed the pose of the figures????

Most of these are the same poses, though the fella with the glasses is mine.

Someone figured out a way. I forget where I got these.

My guess would be the model was compiled at that height and the object was placed on a stationary ship. I know there's always been wishes about adding planes or people to moving ships but I don't think it's been figured out, yet.

Hi tobob and Worthless,

You're doing a great job tobob - I always thought it would be nice if Ti Loup's figures were GSL objects.

Those pictures of the sailor watching the attack on Pearl Harbour are mine. They are from Talon's wonderful mission. I simply substituted the sailor for the P-39 and Usio's Pensacola for the Enterprise. All of Usio's ships can be used as aircraft carriers as they have a number of decks which can be used as take off points for aircraft or crew figures (which are configured the same as aircraft). I just activated that particular deck on the mast in the ship.cfg file of the Pensacola.

Hi Kevin

Can the crew figures (or whatever configured as an aircraft) be put on a moving Usio´s ship (and not fall overboard)?

Hi Discus,

Yes, some of Usio's ships come with missions where you are the captain of the ship. There is also a mission by zeroman where you are the captain of the Yamato under attack by waves of US bombers.

If you start the engine and increase the throttle you will move forward and probably end up in the drink. Sometimes even just starting the engine is enough to send you overboard.
