• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Well I hope it doesn't come to that. I don't know what goes on at FSX but there don't seem to be too many problems here. Of course the moderators have the right to object to anything if it is their site; even if people as usual complain. Nothing new as far as I can see.
 
Don't know what exactly happened - It's to bad that a couple bad apples can ruin an AWSOME site - CFS3 + FSX flyer...... Thanks for making my simming what it is today "GREAT" - Chris
 
"SOH has never been a democracy and never will be, the guy in charge makes all the tough discussions. SOH uses a military type structure of command and yes the head guy has to be a dictator." IMO, I don't know squat about running a web site - So I ask for some direction on what can be done on my end to help keep SOH up. Money - I can pitch in what I can(Most of my other hobby web sites have annual fees). If time is needed by persons, by all means do what is best for you - I know that a Thank You is appreciated once in a while, The way I see so many posts added since my last log-on means a kind of Thank You in its own way. Doing a search for a couple of my other comp games really fustrates me to no end with all the crap written in thier forums. I enjoy reading around here, even if it has nothing to do with my concerns at that moment. I may learn something...Hope this sounds like I ment it to - ScoutII
 
Oh dear. Every now and then something like this flares up and we all pay the price in some way or other. Who'd be an admin/moderator/site owner?

Just for the record, I like SOH for the generally decent standard of discussion and gentlemanly conduct and I'd be sorry to see that lost.
