Nonato,

Those are nice indeed. Remember the plane comes armed with grenades and the new parachute flare. Should be good for a few Artie spotting missions and attacking troops with grenades.:applause:

The L-5 was used in Italy and afterwards alongside the L-4 in the Artie spotting Role. I will post some actual WW II photos this afternoon that were given to me by a L-4/L-5 Pilot who was assigned to General Patton.

Here are some 3rd Army photos of L-4 and L-5s taken by Liasion Pilot Owen Mobley, he flew both the L-4 and L-5 and personally flew General Patton on more than one occassion. Note the markings on the aircraft.

Jaycee,

Could you do a RAF L-5 for us using the information below as a guide. A number of Piper and Stinson aircraft were impressed by the RAF in various roles. These are pictures of a Piper L-4E that I restored to replicate DP-852. The colors and markings are accurate and could be used to paint up a very nice L-5 in similar colors. We would love to include it in te next ETO update. See link below for additional info on DP-852.

Here's something from the Way Back Machine.

Were these Stinsons by JayCee ever uploaded? I don't remember seeing them or this thread.
