Tobii Eye Tracker V

SOH-CM-2023
Hi All

Based on rave reviews in most places i got one of these. Interested in hearing from others who have this gadget as well please. I have done all the calibration/sensitivity setting but finding that the view forward when I am not moving my head (and with eye tracking turned off) is very "jittery" and the picture is jerking / jumping about. Its actually making me feel quite airsickl! I have also discovered that it doesn't work well with fast jet HUDS. As usual all comments/suggestions welcomed.

While MSFS 2024 recognizes mine, it will not track left, right, up, or down more three finger widths while touching my 32" screen.

When I have time, I'll go to your posted link and maybe fool around with it in the sim.

I noticed that the last post for the link was August 2024. Nothing since MSFS 2024 came out in November.

Thanks Jay - I have found some really helpful videos etc on this (2020 specifically in my case).

Mark at Simhanger on U-Tube has done a really clear piece on the sensitivity adjustments particularly and I have found his settings work pretty well. I find the Tracker to be just about useable for GA flying but for fast jets I actually felt ill after a few minutes of flying circuits. I guess it's a similar sensation to that which some folk get using VR headsets. I'll keep trying though.

I suggest you keep tweaking (even though you didn't ask). I have set my eye tracker to be more of a head tracker so you don't get the fast side to side movements and an overall more fluid view.

Thanks again Jay - I have had a message from the Tobii team to say that the "jitters" are a known issue and they are trying to find a way to eliminate it. They said that it should disappear after a few minutes flying.
