I got a text message today from my wife while I was at work. She told me that her father was scheduled for open heart surgery next Monday, and that she was taking him to Virginia Mason hospital on that day so the procedure can be done. Hearing this really made me stop and think. My grandfather went in for open heart surgery. The day he went for his appointment/surgery, he was so stressed out form thinking about it, that he had a stroke and died that very same day. He was scared. But he was strong, and never let anyone know what he was thinking. It all came at such a shock. The outcome.
