Toko-Ri skin update

Squiffy

Hi guys. Watch this space. I am building .mos files for damage effects on Foo's Panther. I got a little frustrated tonight trying to build a set of two but I think I know what's wrong. The model will only support one mos right? The wing damage looks fine, but the fuselage would not display properly. I got wing skin sideways on the fuselage. It's fine when I delete the fuselage mos.

you could copy a mos from another aircraft, and move the bullet holes , about, use one that has the same string length. and rename.

You mean with two seperate mos files, just the right filename length on one model? One alone can work fine, but the Panther model has a fuselage skin and a wings skin seperately. I'll try the filename length thing and see.

Don't know.:ques: Could never get my mosaic editor to work.:kilroy:

You probly already know this but did you also change the name of the _t_damage.dds with a hex-ed in the .mos? And have a copy of that _t_damage.dds in the AC texture folder? Sometimes if I make a stand alone and use the original AC's _t_damage.dds without renaming it oddball things happen. In a stand alone I always copy and rename the original _t_damage.dds and .mos. Then hex-ed the .mos and change the _t_damage.dds in there.

Hmm, interesting. I'll look into this. B-29 has no visible mos damage in game. The B-26.mos is non functional.

Toko-Ri Update is going up!

:woot:
Please allow 2 days for delivery. Then check:

add-ons/cfs3/campaigns&missions/usa

or thereabouts. Update includes Foo Fighter's wicked good skins, and a file update for all the missing parts. Oh yeah, I crunched a 1024 skin set and a .mos file for the Panther. Special thanks to O-1 Driver for his help with the weather. Let me know how it goes.

Have fun!
