The Season 37 premiere delves beneath the waters of Pearl Harbor to explore whether the sinking of the USS Arizona, long believed to have been caused by a bomb dropped by a Japanese aircraft, resulted from a torpedo strike from a Japanese midget sub.

Yes, I added PROVEN to Crash's statement above.

While I am not (by any means) a PH scholar, there was considerable data [enhanced photographic and otherwise] presented in the Military Channels' "Secrets of Pearl Harbor" series that gives Some credence to the Potential of such attacks.

Will we ever really know ? :USA-flag:

I saw the show you were talking about... heresay!

Potential of course... 1 sunk by Ward right outside... 1 sunk by Monaghan near Curtiss.. 1 fired torpedoes @ St. Louis..... this is the sub I think they found.
