Coming soon to a simulator near you. 11 new warships and naval vesels(and counting), SEAFLOAT, Riverine operations. Some old fav's overhauled for FSX, Opfor, soviet AGI's, Charlie's gun running junks, YANKEE and DIXIE station, North and South SAR, PRIAZ, Gunline, the Green Flag ship, extensive South China Sea traffic ; including Subic and Sangley, Tango's, Swifts, PBRs and ALPHAs. Amphibious operations.
Just debugging BGL's, thumping away on Asheville and a Belknap. All on routes, default FSX and the Vietnam War Project sceneries- I even found SOLID ANCHOR and Breezy Cove in those scenery packs, which are great, but the naval element is zero. All of this grew out of the Curritucks :pop4: and not knowing when to stop!

Awesome! I presume the ships, etc will be simobjects, and not just scenery? I know a lot of folks would love to have the collection. :encouragement:

All the TANGO boat river monitors are in sim- ATC's, Zippo's, Charlies, and Helio monitors, along with the 3 Benewah Riverine bases, ALPHA boats, SEAL boats. Its all on programmed routes- something like 150+ at this point.Vietnam looks like a massive vermicelli spill in google earth! Debugging the river routes and tight in shore stuff is proving to be a pain- google earth and FSX don't really match up well in the rivers. I'd like to have traffic running right up into Cambodia, not sure if thats doable except by getting in a boat and running the rivers and marking the lat and long of waypoints, then programme the BGL's manually.UGH. Don't sound fun. But. I'm hooked! The massive scale of naval ops during the war- even simulating 25% of of it gives a huge number of of ships and operations on the go. It keeps stalling when I find stuff out like the PGM's operating on the rivers and canals down in the south, USS Canon slugging it out in a bloody swamp! Lets take a 165ft patrol gunship into 100ft wide jungle canal. Whew! Crazy-3 silver stars and 5 bronze stars in that action alone- so I gotta model the Asheville's. And I think I need a Iwo-Jima LPH now-gotta do the amphib operations. I'd still like to fine Earl Watkins for permission to use his Mispillon and CF.Adams. Been hunting for him for like 3 years now. Lost cause,I think; so I'll just run with it. He had not forbade updating his models for FSX in his EULA, and I think he'd be happy with the way they've come out after overhaul. And if I come up with a hot mince pie under each arm- oh well.

I remember the USS Columbus and USS Chicago, I used to have the old Monogram models of those two ships!
