I must say that this has to be in the top 3, most anticipated sim/games to be released/arrive for me. Thanks Dev Team<S> :applause:

How about you all?

This game was my greatest desire when I bought my computer 2 months ago. I did not know about OFF previous and I am so happy that it runs so well on my new rig. I am playing Oblivion now too but as for future releases I could not care for now. I'm going to have OFF BHAH! yipeeskipeedidildeedooo :wiggle:

Since the late nineties, when I played "Flying Corps" and "Dawn Patrol", I had hoped, that a really good WW1 air combat sim would appear, but never saw a good one. Last year, I found a wingman; my neighbour/friend Uwe, and we played "IL2 Stormovik: 1946". We were very happy, that there were Campaigns, we could fly together, in the same Jagdgeschwader.
Being so pleased with that sim, we hoped, Oleg would, after long awaited "Battle of Britain", sit down with his team, and do a WW1 sim. But that would then be in some far away future - we're still waiting for the Battle of Britain...

One day I thought, why not GOOGLE for a game - maybe we've overlooked one.
And there I found "Over Flanders Fields"! I'm not the same guy since. I spend a lot of time in the forum, which is such a great community - every other game creator would be happy to have, I'm sure. All the mutual helping I found here - just great!
And Phase 2 keeps me hypnotized since I got it to run on my rig; I make at least one flight of duty per day.
And "Phase 3"? Haven't got it yet, but I know in my heart, that it will last for years of flight. Last night, I have even been dreaming of ivory-coloured Halberstadts, driving right into a cloud of DH 2's. Yes - this is definitely the ultimate sim for flying over Flanders fields!

1)OFF Phase 3
2)OFF Phase 3
3)OFF Phase 3
I think its pretty clear :costumes:

I went out a few months ago and had built a very intense gaming rig, just so I could run OFF P3.
So, yes for me, this is the top anticipated sim.
I enjoy the Call Of Duty series as well; so I was looking forward to World at War as well..but nowhere near how I looked forward to P3.

Cappy,

The rest of my new rig hasn't shown up yet, probably Tuesday along with my copy of P3 (yes, I bought it too!!)

But my 24" screen is hooked up with my present PC. WOW!! COD takes on a whole new look when it's that big! Damn, even FS9 is 100% more fun.

It was worth what I paid for it.... blood... I bought it WITHOUT approval from the Financial Department. Good God that was painful. I can't hear anymore, my left arm is broken and I talk about 3 octivs higher. Wait till the rest of the boxes show up...

:caked:

What a good idea - a bit of pain, and then blissful silence. I'll have to mull this over. This could work!!!
:hand:

OVS-
Just tell your "Financial Department"..that this is covered by the Fed's TARP spending plan..small print, last page of the bill. It's there but you must read closely. ;>)

I've never "anticipated" the release of anything since the debut of the '70 Dodge Challenger R/T 340 Six Pack, and I was only twelve year old car nut! The day they were delivered to the local dealer, I just had to ride my bike down to check them out!
OFF is, (as Oprah would say) "A whole 'nother show!" I stumbled upon OFF and SOH in July of '07 and have been "chasing a dream" ever since, saving money while learning how to build and then building a computer just to run BHAH when it was eventually released. I have never done anything like this before. OFF is extremely addicting (maybe there should be a warning on the box!) at least for me. It is, to me, worth every penny and every minute I've spent on chasing the dream. Now, I'm waiting on the mailman (like most of us) for the final leg of my quest. It will be a celebration day to be sure.

Reading some of these posts has made me think of what a long road it has been to get to this point. I have always had a passion for WW I aviation history since I was a youngster. (Doesn't seem like that long ago but that is a different matter).
RB3D was the realization of a dream. It was the only sim I continued to play for years. When computer technology left it behind, I, like so many others was waiting and watching for someone to do another one. I watched every one that started with such promise with great anticipation only to see it wither and die. When I discovered OFF over 3 years ago I got excited again but with out too much hope. I started working with Capt Winters trying my hand at some skins and then was invited by WM to join the team. That was 3 years, thousands of hours and hundreds of skins ago, and I can honestly say I understand now why all those other sims failed. It is a testiment to my fellow team members and to our great supporters that we have reached this point. I am waiting for my copy to arrive with the same excitement I felt when I first purchased RB3D.:jump:

Same here..after all these many months, years of postings and waiting and reading about this addition, this improvenment..it's hard to believe that P3 is actually released and shipping :ernae:

Regards,
Royce
