After someone mentioned Top Gear in another thread I thought I'd post some of the aviation themed segments from the show. Especially for those folks who've never seen it.

ok how about the Typhoon vs. Veyron Trial runs? 1 x stall-like moment for veyron, and 1x getting an absolute thrashing from Typhoon (more so than in the final show)

One of my favorite tv shows of all time....

And I had never seen the opening parts to the Spitfire episode... only the part where the fly in to meet the Germans...

That Veyron is still moving pretty fast down the runway.
Looks like 200MPH+ on that second try.

This is the only show on T.V. since 1980 (when I turned 20 and actually had to earn my keep) that I actually take the time out of my day to watch.

I think in the Brit's v.Germans episode, which I thought was brilliant, they simply edited in a few clips from an earlier show. Then all they had to do was ask the German team to look up. Well at least that's how it look to me. Very funny entrance though, especially after the "don't mention the war" preamble.
