Just finished downloading and installing all the eight parts of this mod; total downloadsize is 1.38 Gb, install size is 4.02 Gb!

At first glance I see a lot of different models with an enormous amount of repaints. There are ETCC, BTCC, Bathurst and DTM classes and more, ranging from 1986 until 1990. Can't tell you how they drive as I won't be able to test until Friday (Thursday if I'm really lucky). will have to try the 635CSi and Cossie RS500 for sure! And the Escort 1600 as I drove something similar in the past. That Volvo 240 Turbo looks interesting too, and can't forget the Merc 190E 2.3!

A few of the cars; these should bring back some memories!

First impressions: The Sierra RS500 (In unlimited 480hp version) is a real beast with enormous turbolag. When the turbo's not working there's understeer, if the turbo kicks in there's oversteer. The Rover SD1 and Volvo 240 Turbo handle well and are good 'beginner's cars'. The BMW 635CSI is a big trickier, but the engine is a jewel compared to the bomb in the RS500. The Supra has fantastic handling but is a bit boring to drive because it handles so well. Finally the BMW M3: The best car in the mod for me so far! Now I know where the great reputation the M3 series have comes from.
Blipping the throttle on downshifts is a requirement on all cars to prevent the rear end from locking up.

Right on re the 'Tea Kettle' ferry, the Sierra goes from terminal understeer to terminal oversteer in a flash!!
Just like the real one.
The Commodores are very close to the real cars as well, even down to the sound and the way they eat rubber.
And I'd agree on the BMW, a good bet on almost any circuit, but I rather like the 635 for Spa or Bathurst over the M3.
So many choices ......so little time!
