TrackIR in FS2002

If I have understood, it should just plug in and go, just as it did for CFS3; I guess you need to be in VC mode, but that's all... Only it doesn't work. Can anybody point me at the problem, please? Thanks!
 
Erm... Losing me there. Which installer? FS2002 was already installed before I installed TrackIR.
 
When you installed trackIR I think it asks you which sims to install its modules to, I tried using the FS2002 ones in CFS2, but no dice. If you run the TIR installer again and point it at FS2002 this time?

Ok... When I installed it, it just... installed. No pointing or anything. It works in all my installs of CFS3, Strike Fighters and First Eagles - about ten or eleven installs in all. I'll take another look - thanks!
