Trees for the season convertions

Robert John

Charter Member
Hi all,
Its only been a little while since the release of issue 5 and in this issue I had showen you how to covert some trees to have seasons, in doing so I hope I have not upset anyone as I only gave information on how I achieved this, and fill I have not broken any copyright.
I hope lwdesigns website comes online soon.
Have any members tried to convert the trees as described in the issue, and what do you think.
Have anyone added the new White cliffs of Dover and also what do you think.
If Linsey's site is closed for good do you think His trees will still be available for the community.
Robert John.

Hi all,
I am glad we can still get the trees, "I JUST COULD NOT SEE THE WOOD THROUGH THE TREES" LOL
I will have to put a note of the alternative web site in the magazine section where to download the trees.
Many thanks.
RJ.

Hiya, RJ,

I know you are aware that Lindsay is quite rigid WRT the non-negotiability of his copyrights. Just thought that it bares repeating. ;^)

Cheers,
MR

Hi MR,
as stated above "in this issue I had showen you how to covert some trees to have seasons, in doing so I hope I have not upset anyone as I only gave information on how I achieved this, and fill I have not broken any copyright".
You use his own textures and convert them using bmpseas as stated in the magazine for your own personal use, also included is convertion for your tree textures for your own personal use.

Sounds good to me RJ. I figured you had it covered.

Seasons in CFS 2

Seasons really add to the enjoyment of mud movers and low flyers! Thanks for your most informed presentation of the subject in Issue 4.

Here are some of my attempts at season in CFS 2 from over the years. As you can see, WWI, the Spanish Civil War and the Russian Front look very good with seasonal textures. I've used many of the addons by Etico and PSullykeys, Simonu and Rhumbaflappy.

Hi Jag,
Will you be converting the trees to have seasons,
This subject is going to be continued in the following issues.
I like your screenshots.
