Trying to correct a CTD error....

Hey guys,

I'm trying to nail down a CTD error, and I've isolated the error to a missing effect. This effect is found in the DP file of Wolfi's trains. I checked the readme and the download, but the effect nowhere to be found.

It is: fx_SmGasFire_wsmk

Do anyone know where to find this?

Thanks in advance,

Feel like a one time I have seen fx_SmGasFire but never with the _wsmk.

I've looked back through my archives & haven't come across it.

I see from the DP it's called for when the "50cal" MG dies - so just replace it by referencing a small smoke fx you do have installed instead?

Rami;
Why not try to contact Wolfi and see where he got it. I believe he is still around here somewhere.

Rami,

I was trying to learn how to write FX file and caused multiple CTD in CFS2. You are correct in saying that FX file can cause CTD.

Rami; Do you think that substituting Jaxon's ship smoke effects may change this ? Also, is it possible this maybe from the old AF effects ? Just a thought.

Unfortunately, I can’t find the effect either. I think it was from “Nibbio” some years ago -and unfortunately I lost my old installation a few years ago. There is a chance that the effect is on my second and older PC, but I haven’t access to this PC until Friday 30th.

Would be nice to collect those old effect’s. -But In this case I suggest replace the effect with “fx_smallfire”.
