Turboprop spool up times?

Hi all,

Just wondered if anyone knows how to set/change the spool up time for a turboprop engine in the .air or aircraft.cfg. By spool up I mean the time it takes for engines to react to changes in power settings. I recall many moons ago being able to do that but can't find any entry in the config files that relates to it for FS9.

Please advise.

Thanks

Look for:

(TurbineEngineData)
fuel_flow_gain=0.020

in the aircraft.cfg.

Increasing this value decreases the throttle/thrust response time.
Note though, that a too high value may give a noticeable "porpoisening" effect as well (i.e. the engine revs up/down with constant throttle setting).

adjust the

[Propellor] thrust scalar

and the

[turboprop_engine] power scalar

in the aircraft .cfg file,should do the trick
