Turning the plane in the wanted direction in a dwnld mission

Hi all,

Would like to know if it's possible to turn your plane in the wanted direction in a downloaded mission. My E14Y1 Glen stands correct on the I-8 submarine, but to fly out it has to fly through the control-tower of the sub. So I would like to have the plane turned 180 degrees, so it can fly out as it should.

The mission sounds as this:

[mission]
version=2.0
title=%title_string%
summary=%summary_string%

Would it be possible to change one or some of the above parameters so the plane is turned 180 degrees? Or are there other tricks?

Happy new year and lots of flightsim-pleasure to you all,

Hertzie,

Actually, I would think that if there is a takeoff point, there should be a runway entry in the mission. This is what you need to adjust...specifically the heading. You need to add or subtract 180 degrees from the number it currently is listed as, but then only save it as a .mis file in that form, not through Mission Builder, because MB will undo this hand-editing you've done of the mission file.

Then, just reload the mission and you should have your correct heading.

Hi Rami,

First: I do hope you're fine and have a non-medical year in front of you and are able to enjoy life.

Second: thanks for trying to help me, but what you are telling me sounds as abacadabra, what means: I have not the slightest idea what I am expected to do. I have never in my flightsim-life built a mission, so please be so kind to help me.

Regards,

hertzie

I discovered how to have a slew mode in CFS2, so I think that I'll manage to get the plane in the right direction.
