'TWA Stewardess School'

Loved that "stewardess simulation" picture with one woman portraying an "Army Sergeant." For some reason it reminded me of pictures I've seen of pre-WWII U.S. Army training, when they'd have trucks with a "TANK" sign painted on their sides. :icon_lol:

Oddly enough....the AA "Mother" ad does look like a picture I have of my mother...except she was blonde.

She had me at age 7 take one of her using her Kodak Instamatic, then sent it to my dad in Viet Nam.

It took me a long time to figure out why she did that.

I have the photo. She sent it to me after my dad died.

RAWWWWWR! Those were the days!

I guess considering that they could be Panther's Panzers.... I shouldn't complain about the current standard. :kilroy:

Cool pics. Many of you may not know this, but Flight Attendants didn't have any kind of airman certificate until about six years ago. Now they are issued FAA Airman Certificates that say "Flight Attendant" in the certificate box, and the name of the airline in the ratings box.
