Two paints for a Vet

I've just uploaded 2 new paints here with the same name: "Diana Mite" flown by Maj. Ted Skowronek. I met Ted at an airshow last summer and got together with him to interview him and take photos of his scrapbooks. He started his assignment on July 4th 1944 with the famous "Pioneer Mustangs" of the 9th AF. He had 3 1/2 kills and also escape & evaded after being shot down on Aug. 25th. He flew over 100 missions and flew P-80's as a test pilot after the war at Wright Field. The 2 paints are of a P-47D and a P-51D he flew in 1945 that the same artwork was applied to both. He is very spry and healthy for just turning 88 and it is an honor and pleasure to know him. Enjoy!

very cool paints...THANK YOU FOR SHARING! Seems we may have to go back to painting more A2A/WoP, and Sky Unlimited P-51's.....

Great repaints Chuck! I especially like the history and personal ties behind the schemes, which are in themselves rather unique and very interesting.
Thank you!
