Two softwares new to me

When I was working on KGSP Greenville Spartanburg Airport for Prepar3D V4.5, I came across two softwares that I had never heard of before that are so useful:
AIG_FSX2P3D which converts AFCADS from as it says FSX to P3DV4 without opening it up in Airport Design Editor and perhaps having a problem. The second one is:
convimx which is a software that batch converts bmp's to dds for use in FSX and P3D. Again it is so handy not to have to convert them one by one in DXTBMP as fantastic a program as that is to use. You can find them by Google online and download. I used them both in KGSP to convert Patrick Finch's bmp's in the FSX texture folder when updating the software for use in Prepar3D V4.5 as you know with his generous permission from the posts and the upload in the Warbirds Library of the airport.

Methinks I'll give DXTBMP a try to convert dds to bmp to use the P3D aircraft textures in FS2004.

I did not realize that there was a difference between FSX & P3D4.5 scenery. So far, all has worked for me.
Can anyone explain how AFCADS differ between them?

One of the first things will be the elevation differences between FSX and P3D regarding airports. The auto-gen excludes can also cause issues with the dreaded vegetation on your ramps or taxiway visibility. I'm on v5 which brought in its own set of fun with sloped runways and having to learn the steps in ADE to convert FSX/P3D AFDs.

Do these programs have some sort of a GUI like adex that would be of any help?
Where is the link for these? My Google search was unsuccessful.

convlmx (sorry I mispelled it) https://www.mwgfx.co.uk/download/convimx.zip look down a bit and click the yellow dot. Unzip and read the manual.
AIG_FSX2P3DAFD Converter: https://www.mediafire.com/file/9zlnqss1d6gcdcr/AIG_FSX2P3DAFDConverter_1.2.0.zip/file unzip it and read the pdf manual. I didn't write them so please don't ask me any more than I know they work.

They are not for the faint of heart and no there is no GUI. BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING WITH EITHER ONE MAKE A COPY OF WHATEVER YOU ARE CONVERTING AND PUT IT AWAY. NO TEARS LATER. I hope that the all caps made a point. Otherwise, just do it the old fashioned way with ADEx or DXTBMP. Very best way, just a lot slower. And STILL make a copy of the original and put it away for safe keeping.
