U-2 on aircraft carrier!

It was a clever idea but not very practical. The carrier has to dedicate flight deck space almost totally to launching and recovering the U-2. Advances in satellite imagery and the SR-71 program pretty much made the U-2's carrier capability unnecessary, but the tests showed that it could be done.
