A U2 from Beale AFB has crashed on the Sutter Buttes north of Sacramento Ca ,I can see the smoke from my yard,but the photos I took appear to hazy to see it,strange,the two crew ejected safely according to the US Air Force.
 
KCRA3 out of Sacramento has video taken by a witness shows the plane spiraling down and you can see a large puff of white smoke,I'm assuming is from the "punch out",and two parachutes,the witness had said he saw three total parachutes.the news are saying the third must be some sort of equipment.
 
Of course the 3rd chute was equipment. Band equipment cost an arm and an leg...
 
Now Kara is saying one dead,one injured.they also have video of H24 ,CHP, and reach medical hello .
 
A sad day for Beale AFB and the USAF. 9th SRW commander, Col. Larry Broadwell, confirmed one pilot killed and one injured.
