UK Sightseeing

Thought I'd do a little sightseeing in the UK and what better to do it in than a Spitfire. I haven't flown this Spit in almost a year so I was a bit rusty, but it's coming back to me now. I'm figuring over the next few days to visit various places. First leg was Southampton to London and then on over to Liverpool.

Right now I'm running "FS 1954" with Bill Lyons' Silver Wings and Raimondo's old payware mesh worldwide that he released as freeware before it totally disappeared off the net. The Spitfire is the Aeroplane Heaven Mk XIX with the textures converted to DXT3 so that it'll run better on my poor old tired system. The airport in the 2nd pic is a Croydon add on that I can't remember who did. The AI is what I've converted from the original default flights with the exception of the last pic in Liverpool which is an "easter egg" that I threw in there just for the heck of it.

So...Pics 1 & 3: what's the AI you are showing?

#1 is a Imperial Airways DeHavilland DH91 Albatross by Jens that I converted to AI. #3 was just a shot of how the ground and clouds look. The AI in #4 is the Beatles' Yellow Submarine by Shigeru Tanaka that was also converted to AI.

I think from Liverpool, I'm going to work my way up towards Scotland.

I think proper pronounciation of Liverpool is 'Leeeee-va poooo (silent L at end).

:d

Love the yellow U-Boot.

What was I thinking? Of course...Livverpule (I think in Scouse you do say the "L" Lionheart!) and I meant #4 not #3, I can see we'll have to concentrate much harder now...still, Willy, you were a few years ahead of yourself there!
