Unable to start new career

Hello
Just wondering if anyone has same issue
reinstalled cfs3 patched uptodate and cannot start new campain..
get message

"No British HQ squadrons can be properly placed with spacing 2 given the
current squadron data and frontline shape"

I have googled it and still nothing helped found posts stating to re install and I did and nothing.
any ideas

also any ideas to improve visuals I have fsx and guess am spoiled with graphis so any great mods available?

Tazzharm, no need to uninstall just yet. For the moment, make sure to delete the two Combat Flight Simulator 3.0 folders found in C:\Documents and Settings\User Name (Your Name)\Application Data\Microsoft and C:\Documents and Settings\Kasey\My Documents if you're using Windows XP.

Those two Combat Flight Simulator 3.0 folders are found in C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft (for Application Data/Microsoft XP equivalent) and C:\Users\\Documents (for My Documents XP equivalent) in Vista and Windows 7.

When you uninstall normally, these two folders will be left behind. They need to go, especially the one in the Application Data/Microsoft folder. When you get the two Combat Flight Simuator 3.0 folders deleted, all should go well. Try to start the game up again.

If you can't find the Application Data (App Data in Vista and Windows 7)folder, you need to do this:

A. For XP - To find XP Application Data folder, open your Windows XP browser and look for the Tools tab at the top. Click on it and look for Folder Options. Click the View tab and look for “Hidden files and folders”. Make sure “Show hidden files and folders” is checked. While you’re here, also make sure that “Hide extensions for known file types” is unchecked.

B. For Vista and Windows 7 - For seeing hidden files and folders, and revealing file-name extentions in Vista:
Open a folder, say My Documents. At top left click on Organize and then Folder and Search Options. Click on View and you will find both selections in the list.

If the problem still persists, just uninstall and delete the two folders mentioned above, then re-install CFS3.

well did that and still nothing got to sim and graphics to basic so adjusted graphics and still got same error
whats next did reinstall and still nothing

Well after re-installing about six times I can't get cfs3 to start new career
regcleaner , deleted all traces of cfs3 and still nothing all drivers uptodate
I need some help if anyone has an idea I'm all ears...

in base install
but wait........
It's the patch from microsoft....I would install cfs3 then the two patches...start game and nothing however...this time ( 7th ) I only installed cfs3 and BING...new career available no error message...why I don't know..
If it crashes I'll post reply thanks for reading though.
