• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Uninstalling Rising Sun?

Threedp

SOH-CM-2025
My install has never quite worked right. I want to uninstall it with a view towards going at it again eventually, but for right now I want it off. It does not appear in the Programs list so should I just delete it or run the uninstall program in its directory? I fear the latter may do something I don't want like mess up other installs, hence my question here.

Make shure you also delete it from: User>xxxx>AppData>Roaming>Microsoft.
If your in win7

The sticky threads include links to installation guides. You might find this one useful, it includes how-to for removing Rising Sun as well as how to install it.

Only vaguely related, is there anything to gain , in any CFS3 install, of deleting planes that I'm never going to fly or fly against?
