Hi Popsaka,

I couldnt agree more the beaufighter by Richard is just a beauty!!!

I like tweaking it as well.

regards Rob.

I like yours better'n mine... Is that your texture sheet I spied in the ETO 1.0 files?

I just WISH I knew how ta change them lollipop colored knobs!!!:banghead:

(they don't even look like they'd taste any good!):p:

Hi popsaka,

Thanks, yes mate thats my texture sheet in ETO. but the real praise should be for Bravo/4 as most of that texture sheet is made up of little bits and pieces John made. I just pushed them around a bit and made them fit.

The coloured knobs, unfortunately we would need the Gmax source file for the VC, those knobs are not texture mapped, there using defualt Gmax colours. so we can pait the VC until the cows come home but those knobs are still gonna be red and green lollipops :)

regards Rob.

Oh, yes... I'm a cutter paster pirate from way back...

Thanks for your comments fellas, it's really appreciated!:ernae: I'm happy to see people are still getting enjoyment from those Beaufighters. They were built in 3 months and released by AvHistory on Christmas Day 2003 for my son Edward (see Will Hunter's CAC web site for a tribute to Edward). He would be happy that you guys are still playing around with them, too.

My youngest son, William, likes sharkmouths so these are for him (FSX...)

Hi Winjeel,

No thank you old son, what you have done for the CFS3 community is a tribute to yourself as a person..

The fact these planes in particular are supplied as a tribute to and for your young bloke (for those who do not know, Edward passed away due to cancer in 2004) means everytime I fly these things I cant help but think of the tremendous amount of love that went into them.

thanks again, and the P40's look just sublime, I hope your youngest gets a real kick out of them when your done.

regards Rob.

Wow, RM, nice stuff... I see you're gettin' all the way wet w/ FSX and its capabilities... the bump mapping is a trip...
Sometimes it seems, at certain angles, the fabric top wings on the mk1 Hurricanes are doin' it in CFS3...
I guess that ain't too blxxdy likely, though :p:

Enough to make a chap think of trying FSX, since I'll have a rig that can run it shortly. :wiggle:
