Yeah ! up and running and looking fantastic!:jump:

But I am trying to improve my FPS as noted in the CFS3 Tips and Tweaks, by Doublestop.

I am in cfs3.xml, and trying to up MaxFPS from "=0" to "=25 to =30", but it will not change.

I have noted that the window title includes Inernet Expolrer in the title.

I have not activated I.E. in my XP Pro operating system, as I am keepng my gamer PC off the net.

Do I need to activate I.E to modify .xml files ?

Thanks in anticipation.

And thanks!thanks! Thanks to Dev Team for this whole new world!!:applause::applause::applause:

Windows defaults xml files to IE. Just open the file with notepad (right click-open with and chose notepad). It is a common text file that you can edit and save. It is good to keep a backup renamed to be safe.

Also when you have amended in notepad, please ensure you file /save before file /exit.

Be sure you use note pad and not word pad or word.. you don't want any formating or line returns to the text saved.

thanks Guys

Dimus: forgive newbee nature of this question, but can the back up file be kept in cfs3 defualt file, along with the modified file ?

Just to comment, if you're running an Nvidia card (as I am) I got a major fps increase without manually modifying any cfg or ini files by setting the nvidia control panel v-sync setting to Force Off vs Use 3D application setting.

Thanks Over50. Yes I am running a 8800GTX OC. Will try.
