hey guys and gals!
I'm gonna give everyone a beta 190a8 to play with this week.
I've been meaning to get this out but always wanted it finished before I did.
well knowing me, it will never be finished so here ya go!
I wanna thank Mathias for the correct font on the vc pit.
I would also like it if anyone could tell me what I did wrong.
as always, I can never find the best pix so I use models as my base.
so what other people do wrong, I have done too.
hope to get it out by Friday!

Hey dancat, that looks very nice! It's funny how something so important like a cockpit can be overlooked in sims. Yours looks most convincing. The stock 190 and P-38 were way off on scale it seemed. Maybe I'm off but if you can't see out, and the panel is too far to reach, something is wrong. ;)

I'm with you Squiffy,
I can't tell you how many times I adjust the eyepoint on my models untill I find something close to what I like.
I gave a 10deg down view to get more gauges showing and f6 brings ya to the reflector sight.
after this I'll put up the P-38f even though also unfinished.
the vc takes months.......years to do!

Looks great! Love the cockpit too, it's the most important part of a model IMO.

May I ask what you've done for the fm? the stock one is awful :( In fact for some reason the 109 and 190 in all the combat sims seem to me to be difficult to fly in stock form.

I'm using the avh fm but will upload with the stock unless someone has a better one.
and yea I'm with you on the vc.
spend most of your time in there so it should look good!

I haven't forgot about it!
I even took a day off of work to get some vc stuff done.
will be up this weekend.
 
sorry, still working on it but when you get it..
I think you will all understand why it took so long!
my best work yet I think. :faint:
