Hi,

I probably should know this - But is there any utilty that will breakdown the hardware on my PC exactly

I need this info so I can supply my local PC Tech head with the info.

I do not want to pay him £15 + tax for a remote connection for something I can do.

Help please :)

My FSX wants to run a bit better

Cheers

Ian

in xp -

click start then run and enter devmgmt.msc and click ok, that'll bring up your device managaer.

Then you expand what you want to see.

Disk Drive = what hard drives you have (allthough to find that out its easier to click on my computer in the start menu)

Display Adapters = graphics card

cd/vdvd drive = you guessed it, the cd/dvd drive

Processors = the processers you have installed

:wavey:

I need to know about my MOBO

best prog for this is Everest, it gives you all the info you need I have it running in my taskbar so I can see all my temps, but it does so much more

Yep, Everest is great, but there's better programs for monitoring CPU temperatures, like Coretemp. They're more accurate.

The built-in "G-15 mode" is extremely useful. I can monitor everything relevant (Ram usage, GPU temps, etc...) while in-game on my Logitech G-15's LCD.
