New paints for Swingmans Duck redone for FSX. The first is BuNo 1656 assigned to VMJ-2 circa 1939/1940. VMJ-2 is now VMGR-252, the oldest continuous squadron in USMC history. I had the pleasure of serving in 252 during the late 70's and early 80's. Note: Sorry for the reversed EGA on the right side of the fuselage. It's just how the model is mapped for textures.
 
This is the same aircraft a couple of years later when VMJ-2 became VMJ-252 and transferred to MCAS EWA, Hawaii in 1941. This is probably how the aircraft looked when it was destroyed during the attacks on Dec. 7th.

When I click that link, I get 5 pages of uploads but none of them are your Duck Skins. What could I be doing incorrectly?

Anyone else having trouble seeing these or is it just me?

I can't see them either!
 
When I use the Warbirds tab and scroll down to warbirds index I see it in the whats new area. Perhaps there is something wrong with the file system.

Maybe because you posted them you can see them but no one else can till they are released. Really strange.

Curious Roger, what did you use as a search string? I tried everything I could think of and came up empty.

Even searching the file name you linked does not find them, although they dl'ed with the link just fine.

Here is what happens with a search

"Looked for entries matching USMCUCKVMJ252.zip, searching for any words in title and description
Searched all categories
Found 4763 matching entries"

Searching does not seem to be working as it appears to have returned every file in the database.

I used "johndetrick/FsX/skins"
 
When I search for johndetrick's uploads the last item uploaded I see is dated may 23, 2012. It is a P40 skin. That is also the last item of John's that I see in the New Uploads List. Not sure what is going on with the file search.
