• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

UTX for P3D Info

This posted over on the SimForums:

Ultimate Terrain

For new users, there will be the same 4 versions:

  • 1 version for FSX.
  • 1 "academic" version for P3D.
  • 1 version for the Steam platform (coming soon. Can't give exact release date).
  • Commercial version for P3D are available on a case by case basis.

Now, I don't want to penalize long-time UTX customers who already have versions of UTX for FSX. So, we are going to write a converter for these users who do not want to have to purchase the full installer for P3D. I have looked into this and it should not be too difficult.

There will not be a converter for Xtreme Cities. Our take is that FSX and P3D are 2 different products that are growing more distant as time goes on. I don't have a release date for the converter. But, it should be available a little after the initial Xtreme Cities release.

I hope this helps. I didn't intend on releasing this info today. But, i know you guys have waited a LONG time.
