This designed and tested for FS9/FS2004, do not know if it works in FSX.

Enjoy,

Marcel

I'll check it out Marcel!

Cees

Edit: I think it needs a flatten! The ground textures are bleeding through.

Marcel,

Like Cees I have some problems. I have used your extra flatteners yet..... And yes I do have default mesh here!
Below my yellow WACO parked in the sub-terrain parking ;)

Cheers,
Huub

Hi Cees/Huub,

Very puzzled  at the moment, if you deactivate the layer with my scenery and start FS2004 with only the default scenery, what is the elevation of the airport?

Marcel

I checked with afcad: 20 feet. And you're version is 20 feet too. With what program did you make the polygons Marcel?

:wavey:

Hiya Cees,

EOD Designer/Airport, anyways found the problem :bump: it's the mesh-scenery resolution:

Think in the fs9.cfg with Huub and your the value TERRAIN_MAX_VERTEX_LEVEL is set to default 19?

Mine is set to 21, for the highest resolution and i've a different elevation flatten north of th airport, with 19 this goes over the airport, with 21 it stays north of it.

New bgl-file with is area removed: http://www.xs4all.nl/~garfield/zips/tkpn-test2.zip

This one should work with you guys.

Marcel

Your fix did indeed solve the problem, however when I start a flight on the runway, the aircraft is positioned at the edge of the run way an not in the middle.

Cheers,
Huub

hiya Huub,

Your fix did indeed solve the problem, however when I start a flight on the runway, the aircraft is positioned at the edge of the run way an not in the middle.

That's correct, meaning this is a bug in the AFCAD file, will also be corrected in the new update :)
