VFR APPALACHIA by PacSim

I've been having some fun flying around Virginia's Shenandoah Valley (while supposedly beta testing PacSim's new scenery). I live in the vale of KIAD's Class B airspace, so the Shenandoah Valley is almost in my backyard. Graham Michael already showed some shots of the 'super nice' KMRB (Martinsburg, WV) at the northern end of the Shenandoah Valley, so I thought showing some shots of the smaller airports in the VFR Appalachia package would give a better idea of just how much fun this scenery package is! (I'm flying Lionheart's smooth and fast Tailwind (and, you can't hear it, but I was listening to a tune on the Tailwind's IPhone)!)

The pictures are from KFRR (Front Royal) and 8W2 (New Market). (Those are only 2 of about 6 or 7 airports in the package, so stand by for more shots in the next couple days.) Great flying and great fun on the right coast of the U.S. View attachment 28120View attachment 28121View attachment 28122View attachment 28123

I don't have any of Graham's previous work, but the reviews outline the quality of his work. Looking forward to seeing his efforts around this area.

VFR App is now with simmarket.com ready for packaging, ...and if all goes well should be released tomorrow - 01/15.

Here's a quick PlanG chart of the 8 airports created by Timber. For the first time since developing product, I have now flown the whole route using his chart.

Oh, and check out Cheat River. It has an interesting dirt rwy challenge to it:

...and watch those powerlines or they'll bite.

Getting ready to install and check out Martinsburg!

Drinking too much coffee and really hoping I don't wet my pants, because the preview pictures just make me envious of the talents that (other) developers posses.

In the words of the former Governator of Kalifornia... I'll be back!
