We’re making the last few checks before our first leg. Unfortunately the crew was not able to paint the plane before the start of the race, but they promise to do so during some of the layovers. Our adventurers are boarding at this time and we hope to depart shortly. The weather’s a bit wet in New York, but this is the way they like it.

My flight crew did some repainting at the stop, but it's not what I had in mind. A single spray can and a brush can't do this plane justice. Perhaps they can do a better job at the next stop.

Landed safely at KMIA. Drifted a bit off course over the water, but tail winds offset the less than straight line route.

You are using Baton time not flight time for two of your flights while not normally a big deal its only 2 seconds of difference I think the RTWR was won and lost by seconds this year. I don't expect this race to be as close as that one was.

Good job on navigating the Bermuda Triangle you only have a short distance and you should be out of it. :monkies:
 
Baton time

Thanks for the note about the time. I usually default to the baton time since it is all about "passing the baton".

Fortunately/unfortunately the pilot for the race has been called away on a spur of the moment vacation, so I won't be flying any more legs till the 6th. I'll have a bunch of flying to do to make it to the finish on the 9th. Should be fun! :jump:
 
Winter in South America

Looking good Vicious!,

Nice getting those nightime flights outta the way.

Just wanted to remind you to take some long britches for later in the flight cause it's winter down in South America.
