Vickers Vildebeest MkIII and Vincent biplane bombers for Fs9

Shessi

SOH-CM-2024
Hi Folks,
Just uploaded two ac packs of the Vickers Vildebeest MkIII and Vickers Vincent updated for Fs9. Jinx asked for some crew be added to the CFS2 only models for his upcoming re-paints. Baldy kindly gave me his source file to mess around with.

Baldy had made a great job of the CFS2 model, along with UncleTgt's superb selection of texs for both, and wouldn't be here without their initial great work. Big thank you to both! :applause:

So, new crew made and put in situ, different crew in different theatres; new detailed exterior cockpits/fuselage; complete new working VC and panel; re-vamped 2D panel; various detailing and tweaks...a real pleasure to work on this model.....

Cheers

Shessi

Hi Ian,
Many thanks for that.

I take it the prop disc was ok, and is there any sheen/shine or is it matt?

If it needs little/nothing then I'll upload/post for FSX....

Cheers

Hi Shessi, everything works pretty much out the box, the prop is pretty good with a slight port-over disk look but its actually very subtle, i may experiment with replacement disks and see how that works, ive also converted the tex's to DDS to sharpen them up a tad. I'd maybe hang on a little, someone's bound to do a FSX VC update and it'll appear over at Simvation within a week :biggrin-new:

Thanks again for the work on this, such a large plane with such a little engine, dont think i'd be happy going to war in one.

Gauges ???

Is there supposed to be gauges in the packages?

The ReadMe mentions gauges in the Installation section but there are no gauges.

I see gauges in the panel but I don't think I see a many as I'm supposed to. I count fifteen on the panel, and there are seventeen lines in the main panel.cfg section, so I must be missing a few.

Hi Mick,
Well spotted!!......doh!!!

Yes I've uploaded them to the same place as ac or here attached.

Apologies for that.

Cheers

p.s Gauges seem to be a sticking point at the moment eh?!! ha ha!!

Hey Mark,
Yeah, the gauge gods are really on my case these days! Them and the rotorhead gods. :dizzy:

I wasn't sure of I was really missing gauges. Old airplanes often had a lot of vacant real estate on their panels. But I counted cfg lines and counted instruments and came up short by a couple. I guess I have most of them from other models.

Hey Mick -- Good thing you spotted that. I have been in the spot plane view more than where I should have been... I never made the "psychic connection".:dizzy:

Thanks again to all involved, OUTSTANDING WORK!
