Video Capture Of FSX - Win 7 OS

Apologies if this matter has been asked and debated previously. I wish to capture flightsim video from FSX and am considering purchasing software to do this (my OS is Win 7) . I know that many people use Fraps but have seen comments elsewhere from people who are not entirely satisfied with it (comments re loss of frame rate & performance etc.) and who are looking for something better. I also have a flightsimmer pal who says the same thing and who is looking for another suitable bit of software. Any suggestions that I can investigate further would be most appreciated. I already have a screenshot utility that I find first class (Screenhunter) so I wouldn't necessarily need that additional facility in any video capture software.

Best regards,
