I used for years a nvidea 9500gt 1G video card, and i like to play some times Worlds of tanks online game that requires a good pc with a good video card.
This mentioned game usually is updated in graphics once per month (usually).
My problem was that i couldnt play the game last month, the screen froze , simply.
Wargaming (the company owner of the game) has a good costumer service, and recomend for my problem . to update my video card drivers.
So I went to the nvidea web site, and updated my drivers.
The changes were surprising not only in World of tanks game, also in cfs2.

Do u update your drivers?

Cheers
Mario

Mario,
Yes, absolutely I update my drivers.
I too use nVidia graphics cards exclusively.
I have had too many problems trying to use other vid cards.

I stick to the "If it isn't broke, don't fix it"

The one time I did an drive update for my old MX440 it messed up part of Model Converter X and gMax.

Same here...I learned eons ago that regarding Nvidia drivers, newer is not always better. After having my share of "reversals", i've been doing with the 326.58 version for quite a while now. It handles all of my business well enough for now.

Like Bearcat - Nvidia had a couple of dodgy updates earlier in the year - I run a GTX970m on the laptop and check the version no. on line now, before I click update - saves much grief!
