"Avoiding & Controlling Spins and Stalls in World War 2 Aircraft" Many deaths in World War 2 aircraft were actually caused by pilot error, rather than enemy fire. The problem was so serious that the US Navy produced this film to directly address the problem
Mig150.jpg

"We Flew the Mig 15" In September, 1953, a North Korean defector handed over the first Russian Mig 15 to fall into US hands. This was a momentous occasion because the Mig had proven to be a worthy adversary for the North American F-86 Sabre in the skies over Korea. Chuck Yeager was one of the test pilots

"The Memphis Belle in Restored Color" This is one of the classic "Bomber" documentaries to come out of World War 2. I got a copy from the National Archives and spent quite a bit of time digitally color correcting it. Colors fade & shift over time. The film shows the 25th mission of the Boeing B-17 Memphis Belle, flying deep into Germany to strike the all important U-boat submarine pens at Wilhemshaven.
B70150.jpg

"XB-70A Valkyrie Supersonic Bomber Phase 1 Flight Tests" in restored color The XB-70 supersonic bomber was one of the most beautiful aircraft of all time!. The critical first four flight tests of the XB-70A over 34 days at Edwards AFB are shown in detail culminating in the aircraft's first supersonic flight (with an B-58 Hustler chase plane!)
Combat150.jpg

"Clark Gable's 'Combat America'" in restored color. Clark Gable flew bombing missions with the 351st until he was ordered to stop by "the Brass." He felt he had to share the danger and experience what these B-17 crews were going through to make an honest film. "Combat America" was produced, written, directed, and narrated by Gable while he was on assignment with the 8th Air Force, developing a gunnery training film. Though it packs plenty of very exciting color combat footage and doesn't flinch in showing high cost of the war in the air, in many ways, it's as much a warm home movie as a hard bitten, wartime "information" film.
Huey145.jpg

"Huey in a Helicopter War in Vietnam" The 'Huey' UH-1 helicopter is one of the iconic images of the Vietnam War. This film was produced by Bell Aircraft to show the essential part played of their "Huey" UH-1 Iroquois Helicopter in nine different of rolls, including recon & fire direction, transport & supply, a variety of assault gunships configurations and medical evacuations.

We also show 1940-45 vintage WWII Army & Navy films and pilot's manuals on how to fly the F4U, F6F, P-38, P-39, P-40, P-47, P-51, P-61, TBF/TBM, AT-6/SNJ, B-17, B-24, B-25, A-20, A-26, B-26, B-29, and Stearman N2S. Alert! - don't miss the F-86 & B-58!
