Ok, so I just spent an hour shooting down 20 German planes and trying to get a video of it, but no joy so far. I was using something called vdub, but I must not have it set up right because, well, lets just say that I eneded up with about 100gigs of various degrees of epic fail. Does anyone know of a good fraps alternative (freeware) that would work?

Thank you, kind sirs.

Well congratulations on shooting down 20 planes anyway!!!

I tried using hypercam , do not have a lot of experience with it yet but it seems to be the choice of a lot of youtube users.

Um, well, not all at once :) 4 per flight! I'll give it a try, thanks!

I got FRAPS in the web, for 20,- Euro. In dollar, that's a bit more. But I find it worth it.
But my second movie wasn't accepted yet by YouTube. It#S 18 min long, with music again. Does anyone know the limit of size?

Youtube has a 10-minute limit I believe.

Thanks, Siggi;
s**t that is - I made a nice video, almost unedited, cause it fitted in time length with an 18 min track.
Okay - must cut it up then. Thank you.

Siggi,
Youtube has a 10 min limit on time length and a 1 gig limit on file size Siggi. By the way.... your Hitler forum movie is funny as hell and you are one hell of a motorcycle tamer too! :amen:
All the best,
MJ

Fraps

Fraps works for me, I just set up the save dir to my xfire video folder and then upload onto xfire. X-fire now has a video capability, but I'm just used to the Fraps, bought it when it was really cheap, several years ago.

I just uploaded one -- I'm "hispeed54" on xfire if anyone wants to invite onto their list.
