Vietnam Flak Effects from Navair

I downloaded 3 flak effects from the Navair.com site. I placed them correctly, but they were only bgls. So I downloaded the only sound and effects packages from the bottom of the page. However the effects had several corrupted files with them, so I opened the bgls for pull only the flak effects that were noted.

Soooooo, has anyone successfully gotten these effects to work? I've flown over each airbase and have seen nothing. I don't know what altitude they show, or even if I got the right textures/effects.

I tried to contact the site owner, but there is no contact function.

Any help?

Did you install the entire Vietnam War project or just the files you mentioned above? If not go here:
http://vietnamwar.project.free.fr/index.html

and install the entire package. If memory serves me it can be a tricky installation. If you have installed the entire project perhaps reinstall the two files you stated are corrupted. This project will not operate correctly under DX10 by the way.

I installed this project several years ago and had no problems although there is important instructions for Win7 64bit installations if that is your OS.

Beyond that I am at a loss, perhaps someone else more knowledgeable will be along shortly. Hope you figure it out as it's worth the effort.

Thank you for the reply. It appears that I didn't install the whole project.

Will do so and restore my ability to get shot at ;)

Cheers,
Jeff
