I was browsing some payware sites and liked some of the videos where a fixed eye point was used on the aircraft. It was like the camera was fixed to the rudder or just behind the nose gear. Is there a way to make this happen by altering the cfg or were they using special software? Anybody know?

With what little I know about those. . .I believe that would have been in FSX and they are "camera views", usually preset with the aircraft (especially payware types), but also something that you can set as well, but I have no idea how. I do know that if you have Active Camera for FS9 you can recreate extreme angle views like that as well, but not permanent like the camera views in FSX.

Thanks folks. Yeah I thought it might have been an FSX thing, which my rig chokes on so I never went past the demo. X didn't seem to offer much beyond 9 besides a need to spend $$$ for more hardware. Talk about taking advantage of an addiction! I'll give that free software a try though.
I think I had an AC demo once which worked around KSEA but couldn't get all the features to work. Doesn't AC have an effect like normal head movement so viewing doesn't look like your head is glued to the headrest? Anyway thanks for the ideas. I'm going to play with the cfg to see if that does anything.
