Vildebeest air file

Hi everyone: I am trying out the new Vildebeest Mk III and Mk IV by M Feilden. I find the airfile to be not the balance that I expected. It feels as if the aircraft accellerates too easily, and has very little drag. Has anyone else tried this plane and can advise? Maybe it is just me not being used to the flight characteristics.

thanks

V'beest

Hi Merlin

The .air for the Vildebeest is based on the one from the GC Swordfish which was a similar aircraft in shape and performance. You can always add more drag in the primary aerodynamics (1101 ) via notepad.

( altering that stuff is not my strong point so if it works OK I tend to leave things alone )

cheers

Thanks Baldy; negative criticism not intended; its not my strong point either! I don't have much familiarity with the dynamics of the biplanes, which clearly are based on much less weight, much more lift; but other than that, its all a mystery to me. I really respected the 1% concept, and it is a shame that we have lost that group of technical guys!
