Cabin pressure on the B-29 was automatically regulated. Here is an explanation from the B-29 Pilot's Operations Manual.
The cabin air pressure can be operated manually through the use of 2 white handled controls located at the Engineer's Station. Cabin air flow gauges are located at the lower right hand side of the Engineer's panel and can be adjusted by mouse clicking on either the plus (+) or minus (-) sign on the gauge itself.
Are the gauges on your B29 moving? mine stay zeroed out no matter what I do. If I am sitting on the runway at 6000ft the ALT gauge reads 6000 and the CABIN ALT gauge reads zero. Is this what your system does?
