Just had to mention this to the Sim World...
I also posted this in the FSX forum...

The Alphasim site is down and I just had to reconstruct my computer from a hard crash
Sent a messaage to Virtavia on how was I going to get all of my AlphaSim aircraft back.
I sent it this morning around 6AM (EST) which means that they are 15 hours ahead of me....
Within 45 minutes I got a response with the link and passwords to get all of my aircraft back!!!

That is support :salute:

Thanks Virtavia for backing your customers. I will continue to support you with the purchase of more of your aircraft starting with the B-1B today!!!

Rick, thanks for the feedback. I know some folks have been wondering about how responsive Virtavia would be to their customers, in comparison to old AlphaSim. I'd say your experience qualifies as good customer service.

Hated to see Alpha go, but I'm sure that Virtavia will continue the superb customer service and support that was the AlphaSim tradition. Thanks for the post.

Phil always was one of the good guys, never found him less than helpful. Like many I was concerned about the change, but it looks like he is maintaining those excellent levels of customer service.

I guess the only thing that may stop me making future purchases with Virtavia is their concentration on FS X; and I think many here know I'm in no hurry to make that particular leap of faith.

Good Morning you all:

After reading this thread the other day, I too decided to give Virtavia a try on some MINOR issues I've had with the Alpha Sim T-6 and the T-28 Trojan set and I must say other than for the time change and it being the weekend, Phil responded in a timely fashion and the results where very favorable :salute: - most of the issue's have been resolved :jump:- and the one's that weren't I can certainly live with!!!
