Isn't this the same issue as a previous thread (which I started) where it turned out to be the Vista UAC issue? If it's off, then the era selector works. Is there a way to keep the UAC on and swap eras?

I just found the UAC issue also impacts the spawn selector as well.

Yes it very well could be the User Account Control if the swappers have been edited correctly.

UAC in Vista is the User Account Control. I guess it's an extra layer of protection for the system. In any event, it seems to (sometimes) interfere with downloaded applications.

Therefore, you may need to turn it off. Click on the Control panel and there should be an option for User Accounts. Within User Accounts you will find an option to turn off UAC.

Frankly, I don't know if it's necessary to have it on all the time. I do know - through experience - that several aspects of the ETO expansion (era swap, spawn selector) do not function if the UAC is on.

where do i place new missions ...when you say era 1, or etc,,,,,,,,,how about all those battle of britain missions ,
