Yesterday I spent the whole day at the Visiting Nurses Association Air Show in Stuart Florida.

They had a nice selection of planes. I shot over 500 pictures including a few videos. I will post a few select pictures here.

My appologies to our members who have dial up but these pictures are large.

For our Coast Gaurd Fans they were well represented

There was a very nice Stinson AT-19 that was converted to GA after the war. It was supplied to Britain under the Lend Lease Act.

I photographed this one and never looked at the sign too much other eyecandy both on display and walking around. What model plane is this?

Here is another one I could not identify. It has a propeller in the front and in the back.

Seven seems to be enough for one post I will post more later.

B-25

There were two very nice B-25 at the show one with bombs loaded. I swear I saw a Merc Air sticker on the one but it was on top of it and I could not get a picture. :d

Corsair F4U 5NL

I was surprised by the size of the radar unit on this old girl. For some reason he only had one drop tank installed.

Nice pics DD, thanks for posting. The Blue Angels jet is a Czech L-39 Albatros. Paint job is darn near perfect match to the Blues. The F4U night fighter looks like it just rolled off the Vought assembly line. Sure wish I was a millionaire!

Great shots! Must have been fun.

It was and I got a royale sun burn from it but no complaints. The weather was perfect.

P-51

And more pictures now that I am home.

The only Mustang at the show.

The guy who flew it was NUTs he made a pass in front of the crowd that I swear was 30' off the ground. OK well it may have been 50' :icon_lol:

T-6 Texan and a Penny

Here is something that I did not know

This is a T-6 Texan the Pratt and Whittney engine had a penny secured in place I assume that means the last overhaul or some other major work.
