Just uploaded a new mission on Lt. Alex Vraciu when he downed 6 'Judys' on 19 June 1944. Don't know when it will appear on here though.

Independence Class CVLs

Dvslats,

Those should be Easykill's Independence Class carriers.

I'm not sure where to get them anymore, but if you search for the following zip files you should find them:

EK_43_cvl.zip
EK_44_cvl.zip
EI_45_cvl.zip

I'm pretty sure that I got mine over at our sister site:

www.netwings.org

Another option would be go search for the Virtual Navy's CVL. I think that Easykill's is based on this ship, but with different textures. Make two folders for it named exactly as the error message that you're getting and then paste the contents of the VN CVL into the two new folders.

Final option is to edit the .mis file to reflect a similar ship that is already in your Ship's folder.

Hey there Shadow Wolf 07,
The Hellcat is from The B24 Guy Overhauled F6F3_HELLCAT. The skin is as BC stated and comes in this download. Time period for the skin isn't correct but it is what she was wearing when I flew her. The MS stock Hellcat will be called up if this one is not in your aircraft folder. They are both named the same. I just replaced the stock one with the overhauled version. :amen:

olaf1924's link was exactly what I needed for my loading errors. Also Jerm, others will need to download Thickos D4Y1 Suisei and possibly VN_FLETCHER_CLASS and substitute this name in the .mis file using the process Jagd explained. Just that this one is readily available here at the SOH Virtual Navy download page. The one named USS_FLETCHER was one I could not find. Please understand that I am not criticizing your fine download. But after several years of add-ons that number in the hundreds... :isadizzy:...well who knows what is loaded in each individuals computer. Some times the making of a readme takes more time then creating your actual project. :wavey:

ah, so it is a stock F6F. I have the FDG VF-84 version in my hangar but was just wondering.

dvslats: I assumed from the readme where he says Fletcher, Cleveland and Indianapolis by Virtual Navy he was refering to the VN ships. Was I wrong?

I haven't spun up the mission yet, but I think I've got all the pieces downloaded.

No you are not SW. The one last no show was the Fletcher. In the .mis file it shows USS_FLETCHER_CLASS. Not VN? Couln't really tell ya. I already have the Virtual Navy Fletcher Class so it was just subbed in...VN_FLETCHER_CLASS. Here is the link,

yeah you are right about that. there are some stuff on my install that i have no idea where i got it from.:isadizzy:

oh yeah that fletcher you have linked above by dvslats is the correct fletcher that i have.

the reason i have all these ships is mainly this site
http://pacific.valka.cz/index.htm
i look up the task force for that period and arrange it on CFS2 so the correct ships matches it correct class. i mean to me i can't use the stock idianapolis and call it say the cleveland. i like to match things and get them historically correct in my missions. i've downloaded so many ships that I have all the major ones covered.

tell you what the next time i upload a file i will have a better readme. i figured most of you already had most of these downloads but iono guess not.

i apologize for the horrible readme. i wrote it while i was doing physics homework online so maybe thats the reason. lol!
