Vrijwilligers gevraagd voor maken Nederlandse Addon voor CFS3 ETO Expansion

This is the IL46 forum. This question should be ask in the CFS3 forum not here!

I support all combat Sim development but it should be done through it own forum and not by driving other Developers developers away.

If we lose respect of each other forum and its develpment this whole hobby community could collapse on us in the lone run. We should keep the development this Sims within its membership and beign able to help other Sims by joining in its developments individualy on own terms without beign induce by members of other communities in their own forum.

I do support the development of all our Combat Sims in our community. I just believe this is not proper way of doing this.:friday:

I've been posting this in every sub forum on the SOH these days to mobilize those who think they could share/trade (he, I'm Dutch) some of their knowledge, missionskills, 3d files etc etc. After all we share a common interest, some of you might even fly several sims etc etc.

I'm actually linking to the CFS 3 forum for more info, so if you had clicked on the link you would have found out I already did what you advise me to do: posting in a CFS 3 forum......because that's the most obvious thing to do. I might be blond and blue-eyed, I'm not stupid:costumes::costumes::costumes::costumes::costumes:

Why wasting precious time trying to design a controltower for a certain airfield (just an example) if an other modder has already made that controltower for another sim....All I need to do is to ask: No for an answer is what I already have and all I could get is a yes (nee heb je, ja kun je krijgen)

Some of the stuff that will be included was originally designed for CFS2, FS9 or FSX and perhaps even Virtual Sailor. If I had never bothered to look behind the CFS 3 frontiers I would never have found it was there and I would have been inventing the wheel again.....So that's why I think posting this question here is legitimate. Even though we do not fly the same sim, we share a common interest.....

PS: I'm a repainter and started from scratch and some of the paint tutorials I used were written for Il-2, others for FS9. I'm designing some ships using a Virtual Sailor tutorial on how to create a hull for a ship. I just don't believe in "sim-apartheid". I wouldn't mind making textures for an aircraft for another sim if that's part of the deal....

i actually think it is a good idea you have there Foute...now that i have exchanged a couple of pm's with you i think i have a better idea of where you are coming from....

To all CFS 3 people here, I've asked reddriver6 to delete this thread that I originally posted on the Il-2 forum here because I really don't want things to escalate....I've never understood the rivalry between Il-2 and CFS 3 people. I visit some Il-2 sites from time to time and I admire the large amount of stuff the Il-2 community has made and they have very good tutorials, made by very skillfull repainters....
So do not :bs: on Il-2, not in the threads I started anyway and certainly not in a thread about a Dutch addon!!!!!!!!
 
I actually think it was a nice idea to post in the IL2 forum. We should more often act without "borders."

Hi Naus....

So did the moderator and some more guys here on the SOH, only this certain eagle from miami was pissed off. I sent this guy a pm to let him know he was the only one to post in a negative way and now it's loud and clear on the "enemy" forum that it was obvious that his complains made the moderator move the thread....and that we all had a few good laughs about it.

I know you have been a CFS 3 crusader on the IL-2 forums and it must have been a hard time....

Oh, I was crusader for CFS3 on the IL2 forums and vice versa a crusader for IL2 on the CFS3 forums...neither is a nice place to be and the communities do not differ in the heat they can dish out for funny guys like me. :icon_lol:
 
Not everyone in flight sim forums is totally balanced.:isadizzy: ; that's why we spend time doing this crazy stuff.:mixedsmi: On the other hand,however, it's good to see many are. Of course I am.:redfire:
 
Like I said before I support all this Sims especialy since I own a three of this Sims. All three of them are different to each other and their addons cannot be share by the other unfortunualy.

Therefore I also support any member who support the development of other Sims as a individual. I do not believe nor treat this Sims as rivals since they are all different from each other.

Each gives us a different view from which to fly in WW2 that the other cannot possibly give us.Beside this is small community that needs to stick together. What I do not Agree with is posting in another forum promoting the development of one Sim over another. Explaning how good all this Sims are over in another Sim forum is one thing but trying to gather its developers toward the development of a Sim over another Sim is simply wrong in my opinion. I do not think is right!
 
Miami Eagle, don't worry about it. Foute Man has done a lot to further the art/hobby/sport/recreational activity of simming, free of charge, I might add, then a lot of other people. If he wants to recruit anywhere here at SOH he can do so. He's not hurting anyone and his posts are related to simming. A lot of devs work in more than one sim and if they want to help FM out then it's their business..... a lot of OT stuff gets posted in all the forums and I don't think anyone has died from it yet..as long as his posts are within the general established bouds of civility in context of waht is acceptable here at SOH then there is no problem.
 
Foute Man can be a bad tempered mother****er from time to time but has been working on a Dutch addon since the very first announcement of CFS3 in 2002.

His first addon for CFS 3 was the Aeroplane Heaven Emil painted in the colours of Oberst Robitsch, the first German POW taken by the Dutch may 10 1940, no further explanation needed I would say

He's a good man, always willing to help you out if he can. Suppose someones says I can give you this file, but I want textures for this type of aircraft in return, chances are high that tomorrow a complete squadron has been made....
