• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

I have worked on and slept in and played in many of these, My ARMY Brother(still friends) had a bus while we were in europe..
And many Dead shows were done in the company of a VW Bus..
Still cruise in one with a friend often, I keep it running for Him..

I Love Buses ! but the price in the UK has gone out of control some cost £25,000 ! I'll stick with my 1965 Beetle and Mk2 Golf for now

My grandfather had one of the VW work vans with double swing-out doors on both sides. I wanted that so bad but never got a chance to buy it when he retired... at 76. Would have made a great "Pie Wagon". :d

And back inte 60s when I was in Boy Scouts I rode in one that sat 5 with the pickup box rear. We froze our butts off in that thing during those wicked winters up in Northern NY. Even with the gas heater.
 
This one was mine. Not the blue one, the other one. That thing was a tank. It went everywhere. Loved that beastie. Never been to a Greatful Dead concert either!
