Want to make OFF installation easier?

If you've got the older version, CFS3 3.0, the one that has to be loaded and patched before your OFF install, do yourself a favor and pony-up for the $9.99 version from Amazon.com. Having those discs (literally) cut my install time in half, and I've found that there are fewer gremlins lurking around OFF when I go to do some flying.
 
Also, if you already have CFS3 and OFF Phase 2 installed on your machine, don't uninstall it! BHaH will install right over it. A seamless installation and it even keeps your config settings from Phase 2.

Not alway's advisable even though it will work, that's how I did it. However my FPS were a disappointing 12-28, because of my Phase 2 slider settings of 5-3-3-5-1.
I'm happy as can be NOW at 25-55 with 4-2-2-3-1 :kilroy:
 
For 100% purity install fresh, use a newer CFS3 as ivanmoe says, preferably the new Ubisoft "Exclusive" DVD one (hard to find).

Remove P2 first if you have it installed.

To add to Polovski's advice, you can also find it as a "That's Hot" DVD. With the DVD version, the BHAH installation is easy and you won't need a disc in your drive to play.
 
Thanks duck a new one that! Ubisoft DVD doesn't need to be in to play either. Cool beans!
